EMS Leadership of Tomorrow

Our EMS Leadership of Tomorrow Program is designed for individuals currently working in EMS  or who have a keen desire to develop a long-term EMS career and are committed to becoming an EMS leader of the future. Our program is designed to cultivate, motivate, inspire and mentor you in your EMS career, drawing from decades of knowledge and experience shared by some of the industry’s most accomplished leaders and entrepreneurs.

What to Expect

Students receive an  intensive training experience delivered in four modules over the course of a year at various locations throughout the country, including Knoxville, TN; Indianapolis, IN; Atlanta, GA; and Scottsdale, AZ.  

Our curriculum provides in-depth, practical instruction on multiple tracks, including human resources management, customer service, community relations, marketing, business development, government affairs, EMS system management and design, documentation, finance, budgeting, revenue cycle management, information technology, communications technology, fleet management and maintenance, logistics, clinical, and compliance performance, safety, risk management and legal considerations. All training and supplemental materials are provided.

Hands-on Approach

Case studies, real-life simulations and hands-on assignments are all part of our EMS Leadership of Tomorrow Program. You will receive training in the daily decision-making faced by EMS managers and executives, as well as long-range strategy planning and outcome-driven results. You will understand how to build high-quality risk and financial models that can drive the success of your business.

Supplemental courses must be completed either prior to the start of the EMS Leadership of Tomorrow class or concurrent with the coursework throughout the year.  Click here for more details.

Curriculum

The EMS Leadership of Tomorrow curriculum is designed to provide comprehensive instruction in key areas of EMS system management. Our classes provide insight into real-life EMS scenarios and are taught by professionals actively involved in the day-to-day leadership of these systems.

Community Education & Outreach Program

The Priority Ambulance Leadership Foundation also is committed to providing public education programs to communities, schools and civic organizations. Through our Community Education & Outreach Program, we coordinate resources and training in areas such as public access defibrillation, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and citizen first aid. To request consideration for community education programs or training, please submit a detailed description of your organization and a summary of your request to: contact@priorityleadershipfoundation.org.
